As the parent, you feel unsure of what to do during times of change to support your child. Imagine how life could be different if you knew exactly how to help your kids access their resilience during big transitions or stressful family events, such as school changes, an illness in the family, deployment, divorce, a move, the birth of a baby or loss of a family member.
It feels overwhelming when emotions in the family are high and unregulated. Your child's challenging behaviors probably include a lot of uncomfortable feelings, negative thinking habits, lack of confidence, and difficulty expressing himself appropriately. These are signs that your child would benefit from strengthening resilience. Imagine being able to teach your child how to keep his emotions calm for better communication and stronger connection and cohesion as a family.
You love your child unconditionally, so of course you think about her future. And with the increasing pressures related to school, extracurricular activities, screen time, peer relationships, mean girls and bullies... It's hard to not feel anxious about your child's future and well-being. What if you could reduce some of your own worry by ensuring your child knows how to problem-solve in a way that reflects value-based decisions? Resilience training impacts whether your child will fare well in life by successfully navigating the current day stress.
A winning game plan for parents to accelerate resilience and well-being in your kids and family!

You might say to yourself, “My kids are fine, and they’re naturally resilient, right?” Well, the research is clear that resilience is something learned and strengthened, just like a muscle, through practice and training. Yes, children are capable of overcoming and will develop coping skills regardless. However, not all coping strategies are equally effective for life-long well-being. The rise in anxiety and depression in teenagers is a big red flag that many kids are not actually as fine as parents may have thought, and these kids seem to fly under the radar for too long. Resilience becomes the deciding factor between which teens wind up faring well in life, and which ones don’t. Even more, we sometimes unintentionally encourage our kids to appear resilient when in fact they haven’t yet become competent in handling their thoughts and emotions during stress.
Do you have at least one child between the ages of 6-12? Then this course will most likely benefit you and your family! Resilience is something that we continue to strengthen over the course of our entire life, and the younger you start developing these skills, the better the results. That being said, there are a few exceptions when this course may not be a fit. If you are looking for psychotherapy or treatment for a mental health diagnosis, this program is not a fit. This course is designed to be skills training, and preventative in nature. If you have more questions, I am happy to talk with you directly to determine if your family is a fit.
Now, you might read all of this and think, “I'm not sure I can be the one to teach these skills to my kids. I have no background in this.” I want to reassure you that I will be there with you step-by-step to guide you through the skills and answer your questions. There is no expectation of perfection! As a matter of fact, kids learn resilience partly by watching how you make mistakes and then get back up again and grow from the experience. Everyday gives you the opportunity to model resilience and express to your children the message, “I believe you are capable, and I am here for you if you need me.” When you consistently show up for your kids and love them for who they are, they can take those healthy risks needed to navigate this complicated world resiliently. This course will help you to do just that in a simple yet effective way!
You will have access to the recording of the live meeting to review at your convenience.
